About

Jill Heesbeen (1998) is an illustrator (and occasional animator) from the Netherlands. She has a fresh, colorful, graphic yet playful illustration style, and enjoys raising socially relevant topics with her work, or depicting someone’s perception of the world. With effective metaphors, comparisons, or visual jokes, she translates words to images, making conceptual, character based illustrations. Because of the humor she often uses, her work is suitable for young and adult audiences.

Clients include: The Washington Post, VICE, Teen Vogue, De Volkskrant, De Morgen, Trouw, Kunstloc Brabant, and Volt children’s books.
